That's right, be excited! Frontman Anthony Kiedis is teaming up with HBO to turn his 2004 autobiography Scar Tissue into a TV series!! The show will focus on Kiedis' childhood and early life. In 1974, Kiedis moved from Michigan to live with his father John (a.k.a Blackie or Spider) in L.A. Blackie dealt drugs to famous rock legends like the guys of Led Zeppelin and Keith Moon of The Who. At 12 years old, Anthony had smoked weed for his first time, lost his virginity to one of his dad's girlfriends, and hung out at the Rainbow Bar and Grill on the Sunset Strip in West Hollywood which was a hangout spot for many celebrities and rock musicians. Kiedis says of his relationship with his dad, "He introduced me to the arts, to a more culturally magnificent life. But some of it was this quite heavy, adult matter that I wasn't capable of digesting." Anthony is looking forward to producing the project and bonding with Blackie. He may provide narration for the show as well=)
